Legend Matsuyama teams, Sacramento teams and the two Matsuyama junior high
school teams continued to play the second and final day of the Friendship
Tournament. All games were heated, and players seemed very satisfied. Audience’s
excitement added to the fun.
Matsuyama junior high school boys’ team and Sacramento girls’ team seemed
to have a slight advantage over other teams. Throughout the tounament,
players developed friendship. Matsuyama players enjoyed the way of cheering
that was taught by one of Sacramento members. As the closing ceremony,
a knock-out game was held and Sacramento boys’ team won the game. This
Friendship Tournament game will remain unforgettable to all participants. In the evening, a farewell party was held at Matsuyama Castle.
The Sacramento enjoyed dinner and fire works with their host families. The
Sacramento players and their host families got along very well, despite the
language barrier. It was a very good, heart-warming farewell party. Powerful
Sacramento members cheered us up throughout the day.
